Tile FAQs
How much does tile cost in the Rio Grande Valley?
It depends on the tile you choose (ceramic, porcelain or natural stone), the size and pattern, the square footage and the prep your floor or walls need. We give you a free estimate after we see your space, and our Price Match Guarantee helps you get a fair price. Call Brownsville (956) 350-6777 or Pharr (956) 475-3198.
Porcelain or ceramic — which is better for South Texas homes?
Both are great for our heat. Porcelain is denser, absorbs less water and is tougher, so it is the best choice for high-traffic floors, showers and outdoor patios. Ceramic is a budget-friendly option for walls, backsplashes and low-traffic rooms.
Is tile good for outdoor patios in the Valley?
Yes — choose an outdoor-rated porcelain with a textured, slip-resistant finish. It holds up to our sun, heat and summer storms and stays cooler underfoot than many other surfaces.
Do you do showers and backsplashes too?
Yes. We help with tile floors, walk-in showers, tub surrounds, kitchen backsplashes, fireplaces and outdoor patios — and we can match your tile with countertops and flooring.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Financing is available with 12-month deferred interest through the Synchrony HOME™ Credit Card on purchases of $1,999 and up (subject to credit approval).
¿Hablan español?
¡Sí! Our team speaks English and Spanish at both showrooms. Hablamos español.
